Uniforms!??

I like the white jerseys

 

Titans need to do SOMETHING to spark interest again. Interest from the players and fans are at an all-time low right now. They're not playing for anything most games, we need something to excite the franchise.

 

It's not just as easy as deciding to change your logo or update your look. If the team did decide to update anything, there's like an 18 month - 2 year warning they would have to give the NFL before they implement it.

I do agree that cool uniforms actually do attract fans. I don't think Oregon's college team would be nearly as popular if they just wore green all the time.

That being said, I would love to see some really modern touches or updates to the uniform using the current color scheme. I've even thought about doing something myself, and hiring a few graphic designers to design some things. Then possibly going to a manufacturer that would loan me some helmets so I could print out the actual decals they come up with and put them on the helmets for all to see.

Not to blow my own horn, but I have worked in sales and marketing for years and am quite good at it. The Titans should seriously consider hiring me for things like this. I would have the teams best interests at heart more than anyone, plus with the help of my goTitans crew I could let them know what the true fans think about certain things and have my finger on the pulse of what they are feeling at the moment. If anyone has any connections to the Titans at all, I will send you my resume.

 

I agree, they need to focus on the defining color of the franchise, the light blue. There is nothing bold or "signature" about navy blue. it is just about the most generic color there is.

There is no tradition associated with these new uniforms, nobody is going to care if they change it up, now.

 

I was firmly against the uniform change until recently. I finally realized that it is impossible for morale to be any lower. Any kind of spark can only be a good thing for the fan base. The old Navies had the McNair tradition, but the baby blue modern ones only carry the VY era with it. a pretty good 2-3 year run is no reason to hold onto uniforms for traditions' sake. I would have disagreed with this notion a year ago.

There's no reason not to change, now. A change can only mean good things, and people paying attention to the franchise. When you're at rock bottom, there's only one direction to go.

The owner is dead, McNair is dead, pre-2004 is dead. The franchise is stagnant and starting to stink. time for a change.

I agree we need to shake things up, but can we wait til the Nike deal is done before tinkering with our look....

 

They will only go as far as the team will let them. If Smith puts the reigns on them, they won't go as stupid as they did with the Jags/Bucs.. Where I imagine they said: "Go wild, fellas."

Quite a few other teams have kept it conservative and not laughable, like the Vikings, 49ers, Dolphins.
