Ok, in Metts defense....... do all the starting tom, peytons, and drews consistently have pick free games? He'll get there. I KNOW everyone here is familiar with the term...when the game slows down for him, he'll get better...... Well, when it slows down for Mett, look out.

 

Still gonna manage more yards than Sankey here though. No way Sankey gets a 1000 here like CJ did last season.

 

Mett literally made some incredibly inaccurate throws that cost our WR's YAC big time.

 

If Zach Mettenberger continues to play like this, we should absolutely make him the starter next year. Don't waste a top 5 pick on one of these QBs.. Work on this awful defense.. It needs a more consistent NT (Lee Hill makes some good plays but 206 rush yards? Really?), and 2 OLB that can get to the QB.

The OL was very promising.. No penalties, no sacks? Warmack looked good.. Lewan is so legit..

Blidi Wreh-Wilson looked pretty damn good again.. I'm telling y'all, kid is just going through growing pains..he's gonna be a good CB..

We should simply go BPA, unless it's a OT or OG lol. If it's Cooper, go Cooper.. If it's Williams, Gregory or Beasley, take 1 of those.

 

So if Mett continues to lose games lets keep him? He had a chance in the 4th quarter to win the game and he failed. I don't want someone who is not clutch.

 

Gotta take exception with that one. He made a couple plays. Has potential, But most of his success was rothlis****er making bad throws. I could not believe how bad he got beat on a couple of plays and roth blew the passes. We got really lucky on that front.

Watch his first defended pass in the endzone .Wilson was 8-10 yards beaten.... but roth underthrew that ball bad enough for WW to run into the receiver .....cuz he had to stop. Just saying.

I honestly cant believe there are actually people dogging on Mett today. Anyone who is dogging on Mett, has some sort of agenda.


We may be watching a 6th round rookie become what we have needed for a decade, and people are whining because he still makes mistakes in his 3rd game.

Some of you are being pretty ridiculous about this.

 

Oh, the INT was just as much on Mett as it was on Hunter. Both blew that one.
