Titans may have lost the game ...

So I agree that Mett looked really good. Patient when needed, got the ball out when the blitz was on or pressured, took the big hits after release, solid with his reads, picking up the defensive schemes, etc. A couple of bad passes, but hey. A couple of bad drops too.

The offensive line looked MUCH better. Stupid penalties were down, they gave Mett some time to throw, and made some holes for Sanky.

The defense looked GREAT at times, and Griffin had one of his "good" games, (will probably suck next game if history holds true). Blidi Wren Wilson was much improved, and those 5 sacks were nice.

But here lies the problem we have had for several years: The inability for the defense to play four quarters of football. :( :( :( :(

Yes, everyone is tired in the 4th. I played and remember just wanting to get a shower near the end of the game. But arm tackling, inability to shuck the block and grab the runner, soft coverage in short yardage situations, etc. It seems like the Titans are not conditioned for the marathons, only for the 100 meter races. For years they have blown leads in the mid 3rd and 4th quarters for this issue. Bell had 74 yards in the 4th alone. Most of his 203 yrds came in the 2nd half.

It does not matter how great the offense does if the defense gives away the game because they run out of gas. Just my 0.02¢

 

This is true, but I saw time of possession and it was like 40/20 Steelers. I don't care how in shape you are if you're on the field that long you're just going to winded. It was mostly on the defense for not being able to get off the field but the offense, after the first score, didn't really sustain a drive after that either.

On Hunter. IMO. The tv crew kept playing it over and over and over and over and over......

If hunter doesn't lose his feet, this was a very catchable ball. Not perfect, but good enough not to be a pick.

 

Kid is a freaken rookie. Hunter lost his feet. If you watched the game on tv then you saw all 5000 replays of that pick. No reasonable person can say that was a bad throw. Not perfect, but catchable. Freezing day, first play out of the blocks.....nuff said. He came back killin it. Mett is our new franchise QB. Learn to love it bruh, he's here to stay.

 

Bell is a phenomenal player tho, guys like him carve teams up all the time, dont let yesterdays game turn you off, our defense is getting better each week.

The thing I was really happy to see about last night was Mett not being sacked, thats really what worried me the most, but he's also showing growth with each game.

 

LMAO. Dude chill pill. Mett has played 3 games! He looked like a less accurate version of Kerry Collins last night. He has not shown anything that makes me believe he is the answer.

He's starting behind Chris Ivory in NY. Just accept he isn't good anymore and only still playing to collect paychecks. Kinda like his last few years in Tenn.
