you are to be commended on your patience. I posted a thread a while back on how coach whiz has lost to all 3 first year coaches he has faced, all of which posted worse records than the titans last year. He lost to all three. I have been a titans fan since they moved here and just want to see good competitive football. Coach whiz has history to look at as a head coach. Its not that great. We ate a small market team who cannot hold on to great players entering free agency. We need a good coach to overcome this. A coach that makes great strategies pregame, good in game adjustments and manages the game without flaw. Coach Whiz simply cannot to two of the three.

Agree on Mett....BUT, the name of the game for this part of the season is to conclude whether we need to make an offseason move for starting QB via FA or draft. Mett looked good, but did not perform when we got down (blew pass on third down after Steelers went up).

I agree that I am being harsh on a rookie that had a good game, but I need to see progression in this area (clutch situations) before I jump on any bandwagon. He has several more weeks to show this, and I really hope that he does.

Mett bouncing back from the 1st play pick 6 impressed me. I thought he played extremely well. Best game of the season by far

Btw....what was up with the away uniforms? I had a few folks with me joking that the team was just acknowledging that the Steelers were the home team tonight. Was there a reason for the white jerseys tonight?

I'm not pissed, we put up a good fight when everybody counted us out.

Offense: Mettenbergers stock is up, still had some d'oh plays, but I saw improvement. Sankey finally started looking worthy of our 2nd, Whiz needs to give him more carries still. Wright had another solid game, I see a nice connection brewing with him & whiz.

Defense: We got destroyed by Bell, we're simply too small up front. Can't switch 4-3 to 3-4 in one off-season, we're feeling that. With that being said we got pressure on Big Ben often, thanks to our 24/7 blitzing. Casey and Williamson had solid games. Besides that 1 whiff, Griffin looked decent - and so did BWW.

We lost the game, but showed improvement. Mettenberger is getting closer to saving us from reaching on a QB in the draft. With Tampa losing, I believe we move 1 spot up? Leonard Williams or Randy Gregory sure are looking nice.
