That is the nature of the business. He got traded. Get over it. As the NFL is a business, nothing personal!

No, I think our best players, talent wise, should start. Ayers clearly had more talent than all of them. You don't bench someone just because they "don't perform or don't give it their all" in a preseason game.

So base playing time off of talent and not performance? As little sense as that makes, it does explain a lot about your man crushes over the years.

Talent is meaningless if a player can't translate it to results.

If player has talent and it isn't translating to results. Then the coaches have to look themselves in the mirror.

Ours coaches dont do that tho. So its up to the players to get it together.

You do if they cant deliver tho right? Ayers was too dumb to grasp the new scheme. I actually dont know that but unless he slept with Mrs Whisenhunt, what else could it have been?

There is a clear and obvious flaw to your logic. How do you know who has the most talent? Physical tools? Where he got drafted? Production in college?

The problem is that almost all of a player's perceived talent is based off of PRODUCTION (college stats), physical tools (combine numbers which don't always translate), or where they got drafted (which we know is a perception game in an effort to quantify production and physical tools).

So prior to Ayers playing for us and prior to the draft, you thought he was clearly better than whom and how did you come to this conclusion? I can remember zero posts of yours suggesting Ayers was one of the most talented players on our D, we should feature him as our best pass rusher, or he's one of the best LB's in the league...

The problem is our new coaches do not use players according to their talents. Whiz forces them into his system.....I would have MCluster and Kendall running quick plays all day long.

Both these guys have been used incorrectly and both of them had great years last year so they can't continue to blame them for bad playcalling.

Never said he is the best in the league. Or our best pass rusher. However, he is better than Phillips, Morgan, and Wimbley.
