I don't look Spanish by any means. I'm the typical Irish/German mutt otherwise but granny was Spanish/French and had all the De Leon tracings in order.
I did Ancestry.com last year and found a pretty direct line to William Randolph and Mary Isham of Virginia. Meaning I'm a relative of Thomas Jefferson and Robert E Lee and a bunch of other noted founders..
I did the one for my wife and she is a literal straight-line descendant of John Howland, who came over on the Mayflower.
    Pretty crazy stuff...

Somehow Fox has made me even less excited about the Fantastic Four movie. Doctor Doom isn't even Victor Doom and is apparently some angry internet blogger. Throw this in with the totally different origin, race change and the fact they're basically going with none of the source material and now you know why I won't be seeing it when it releases.

Wow. That's it for me. If Doom isn't CLOSE to the Victor we know and love...

    F the F4.

The characters are simply too cheesy to be done well. Fantastic 4 are meant for cartoons and 1960s comic books.. They do not translate to the big screen. There's no way to make a stretchy man anything but a ridiculous 2nd rate comedy act.

I saw the first one for free... Never will watch another one, unless they really show that they can make it work.

can work in the comic book and cartoon medium. I loved the FF as a kid. The Mr. Fantastic character is too much of a traditional 1960s honkey to make it work on the big screen, without nearly dismantling the entire character/group.

Ben Grimm would be the only one ready-made for success, IMO.

Do they even do focus groups anymore? Was anyone hoping for them to do FF again? I think they're just banking on Marvel's successes. But Marvel's successes were due to their great action, and intriguing stories, not just because they threw a superhero in there.

they'd better release this around this time of year.. if it's a summertime movie, it will get buried.
