It's getting pretty real hard to watch this team week in and week out. Pitiful.

Metts best attribute is that he is poised in the pocket....his worst attribute is that he is poised in the pocket.

Where is his internal clock? Must be counting mississippi.....his comparison to Big Ben is just his height.....he must have cement in his shoes.

Two easy missed plays on third down....he overthrew wright and did the same again later.

We showed fight in the beginning, but we have the longest drive of the season to end in a fumble at the one.....just bring in battle and let him run straight.

Defense did pretty good today despite the bad field position the offense kept giving them.

Every punt return we had there was a flag.....I guess we didn't pay the refs extra time in practice to stay for special teams.

I thought Williamson played a very solid game again.

I was very pleased to see Mett come out in his first road start against a very solid defense and lead us on 2 great drives. Then the Walker injury really derailed things. Mett made some usual rookie mistakes. I'd rather see a QB hold onto the ball too long than take off and run at the first hint of pressure. His internal clock will get better as the season goes along.

We really need an infusion of speed at the WR position. Wright is quick, but doesn't scare anyone deep, Washington isn't a burner any more, and Hunter is too soft to actually use his physical skills to help out the QB.

I'm still excited to see our young guys hopefully improve over the rest of the season.

If Mett can be the guy then best defensive playmaker has to be the draft pick.

First sentence hits the nail right on the head.

Though him holding the ball too long is not about an internal clock. He does not have the ability to anticipate receivers being open. So he holds it too long waiting for a receiver to be wide open.

    Mett is another Rob Johnson.

First two drives argue against this point. The throw he made to Hunter, which surprisingly Hunter caught, was very well timed and into tight coverage.

I would like to see it on film to know if our WRs are not even close to getting open or what was causing Mett to hold the ball as long as he did. I don't believe it was simply because WRs were not getting wide open.

I think the Walker loss derailed our offense and we have zero options at TE to fill that role.

I agree about the Walker loss and its impact on the offense. How (or if) Mett adjusts to this (holding the ball too long and standing still in the pocket) over the next seven games will be a huge factor in his future with us IMO. He seems to be going through progressions now (albeit a bit slow, not abnormal for a rookie), and really only forced one throw (at the end of the game), so he has developed in those areas.

Whether he is afraid to shuffle due to his recovering knee or just slow reactions to pressure, he needs to overcome this soon IMO.

This team is so frustrating. Do you guys/gals see hope or a glimpses of a good team in the future? What are your thoughts going forward after this season?
