Usually high coaching turnover is never a good thing but this team is so bad I really don't think it would matter.

You should blame management and scouting. Ayers was taken too high. He will undoubtedly be better in NE. Not because he has better coaching or management, but because he has better talent around him. If he goes in and flashes in his first game that will be from what he was taught in TN. Not 2 days with big Bill.

The fact is this team needs new scouts & GM. I am sooo tired of people blaming coaching. These players sucked with Munch, now with Whiz, and even some when Fish was around. When you see players go bad with so many different coaches at some point you have to realize it is not the coach.

Our scouts & GM put mentally weak players on the roster. If you put big Bill here in TN tomorrow nothing would change other than Bill's stress level.

 

Really wish we'd find out what the deal with Ayers was when he was here... need more transparency if they don't want to run more fans off.

You can hire whatever coach you want. Nothing is going to change until the scouts and GM are gone. This roster is weak on both sides of the ball. That's not the coaches fault. He has 53 guys to work with. What would you suggest he do?? Webster has complete roster control in TN. Whiz has no control over it. He cannot change a lot without Webster's approval. Even so with this group no coach is going to come out on the right side of 500.

One thing that stood out to me on the video is that Ayers said' "This team expects to win every week, I got to get used to that mentality and follow these guys."

When an ex-player makes that kind of statement it makes me feel like there are still several players in TNs locker room that just do not care. It seems like that cancer Walker was talking about has not been pushed out yet.

 

That's pretty sad that he's not used to a mentality of expecting to win every week after playing three seasons in the NFL.

Just shows how bad we've been. Our players expect to lose every week and just mail it in.
