For me, and probably a few others, I thought there was more talent on this team. We've been going 7-9 to 9-7 the past few years and just kept waiting for that breakout year. I thought it would surely be this year with a new HC at the helm. Unfortunately no and the growing pains are worse than we thought.

If Mett can show enough to not warrant spending a 1st on a QB that would be great. We need more impact defensive playmakers that fit Horton's scheme. Also, fixing the OL is a bit tricky. I don't think it's a bad unit, we're just not getting much of a return from our investment. I would like to see Levitre go but 1. I don't know his cap hit if we cut him and 2. getting rid of someone just opens up another hole to fill. We have plenty of those already.

The rest of the season will be rough to watch but I'll have a bit of pleasure in watching the young guys grow week to week.

Not if Locker accepts his role.

A couple of years ago, the Seahawks gutted their team. It's time to show Roos, Grif, Both Washingtons, and over half of this current roster the door in the offseason. Whiz should tell the team that the entire roster is going to be evaluated this week and that most starting positions are up for grabs after the bye week. Outside of Mett, Casey, Lewan, Williamson, Shankey, Walker, and Kern, every damn position would be closely evaluated. I'd make an example out of Warmack or Levitre by taking one or both out out the starting lineup.

This team has been bad for years. This is not a one year fix. Now I am impressed with some of our young talent . But this team needs more talent. That's the bottom line. We don't have a feared pass rusher. Our QB has been Mia for 4 years. Our OL who knows what their problem is. We need help but the key is we need good picks and not bonehead ones that set us back. Hunter has to learn to catch the ball. He reminds me of locker. Got everything you want in abilities but teases you. We need a WR to step up . Heck our whole team needs to man up and play lights out like their jobs depend on it. I think they should depend on it. Go Titans.

Agreed on the evaluation during the bye week. Needs to take place to move forward.

Keep in mind that year 3 is the year for wr. That's usually when they start to get it.Another year of gaining strength and getting a feel for the game, and I think Hunter can be a good/great player. I'm not ready to give up yet especially due to history being on my side.

You honestly think it wouldn't cause a rift in the locker room? If Mett is Whiz guy and Locker is the team guy, who is the team going to respond to?

The league has had its share of #1 QB picks as backups.
If Locker wants to be an NFL starter anywhere at this point he's gonna have to outplay someone in camp or hope for an injury.
