Now that it's all said and done, I'd say we got about what we should've realistically expected from Mett. He wasn't going to come in here and be Joe Montana in his first ever start. And he also didn't play as poorly as you'd normally expect from a rookie 6th round pick. Now it's just a matter of how much he progresses over these next 8 games.

Most undisciplined team in the league. Absolutely pathetic.

Too early to judge Mett. He does look confident in the pocket and moves well. Love his gunslinger mentality.

I think mett could be a solid qb, not montana caliber but maybe as good as mcnair. It's the talent around him that is worrisome.

I know it looks that way but we've gotten smacked around a lot the last few years and still not thrown it more than 40 times.

Mett actually moved his feet really well in the first half, and then in the 2nd he became a statue. I hope he gets that mental alarm clock going at some point.

He played well on a bad team. He could have done much worse and still would have had good reason.

You can't put a guy in such bad situations consistently and expect much more than what we got today.

    Mett gets a B
the rest of the team gets an F.

I'm pretty sure mett had the best debut for a rookie qb this season

As far as passer rating, he's had the best for the debut

I'll say it, with Mett at qb, the Titans have a lot more serious issues to deal with on this team. Take your pic, oline or any position in d not owned by Jurell Casey or Williamson.

On top of that we have a coaching issue with the wrs, they are lacking development or purpose and are often confused.

Mett has the mentality, intelligence, and talent to be a franchise qb. His downfall will come only if we fail to build a team properly around him. He will be better than a flacco if we do that.

The issue with. Guy like locker, ge o smith, etc they don't "look the part" people cling to stats, specific plays, to argue for or against them because half the people don't buy them as a franchise qb based on the eye test. Mett passed the eye test today, he looks the part while he is playing. Now with an offseason, and a hopefully better team around him, I think the conversation will be not so much if he is the franchise qb or not, but where he stands amongst his peers, and how far can he go, can he lead the, to the playoffs. I don't forsee much confusion over e next few weeks about who are qb will be next year. It's mett. Let's start gutting this team of garbage and start getting the culture back to winning.

There not much he could have done when his first 6-7 drives started with a penalty. His whole team let him down today.
