If you are expecting the kid to come out and go 300+ yards, three td and no picks, yeah.

I just wanna see signs. Accurate throws. Reading the defense. Poise. Pocket presence. That sort of things.

Im expecting to see at least one ghastly mistake. It's a rookie in his first start.

Yeah there will be some bonehead plays and whatever play the kid is sent in with he will likely run.. probably wont see many audibles.

But hey, Houston is near the bottom of the AFC in passing defense .. so there's that

"He's innately accurate in critical situations," Cameron said. "He proved that last year on third down and in the red zone and NFL teams know they need that. Until they're around him on a day-to-day basis and understand it, this guy really understands what 'open' means in the NFL in terms of separation.

"A lot of guys really have a tough time adjusting from college to pros because they're expecting everyone to be wide open. Well nobody's open very often in that league. You have to have the trust and the courage to throw it in there and Zach has proven he can do that."

There is going to be some bias because he was Metts OC but I like the praise.

Good move by Whis IMO...both from a game and gameday marketing standpoint. This has been said ad nauseum, but we need to see what Mett can do, and it will take several games for that to happen.

I also think that there will be a few more Titan fans in the stands as a result of this. I am actually looking forward to Sunday now for the first time since week 2.

Mett has all the confidence in the world and Cam Cameron taught him when a NFL WR is open and when there is separation. He is going to trust his arm strength too much and throw in tight windows and make some explosive plays for us.

Sure he'll take his lumps and throw ints. However, with his mentality I see him throwing an int 1 drive then marching down the field for a touchdown the very next drive.

I hope this kid works out I really do. This qb carousel needs to come to a stop. The last qb to play a full season for us was in 2011- Hasselbeck. Seems like so long ago. And while I'm at it for us old timers, before Hasselbeck it was Mcnair in 2002. 12 years and two guys finished a full season for us. We are due that's for sure.
