Jake Locker set him up for his first touchdown against the the Browns, and take away his 75 pass to Hunter he was mediocre at best. What did he do against the Jags again? How about the blown coverage where Hagan was wide open yesterday, what did he do against the Redskins?

Your judging his performance off of 3 games against teams with a combined record of 6-14. Idc if it's preason, regular season, playoffs you can clearly see CBJ jitters in the pocket under durress.

Peyton Manning was 3-13 after his rookie year. POS!!!

What you want to do is lower the titans to the level of of the Jags. Who gives a f*ck we are going to suck anyway let the kid play!

Bortles has 10 ints with only 5 TDs, Bridgewater has 5 ints with only 1 TD. The only rookie QB with any significant playing time who has been credible is Carr(Another good call by me). These are first rd picks struggling mightily and you want to throw a 6th rd pick out there.

Mett will get his chance to play if he keeps progressing but why rush it?

Passer rating just looks at stats though. Doesn't take into consideration any situational football ... You could light it up when you are down 50-0 in the 4th Q and have a good passer rating. QBR does take that into consideration. His QBR is only 48.6 for the year, which is slightly below average.

CBJ sucks when we need him the most. He doesn't really do anything to win games, he just doesn't suck enough for us to have just cause to replace him ... this is exactly what has been killing this team for the last decade. Being content with OK football and not making a change (I even made a whole thread about it)

Last time I checked Whitehurst was in his 9th season not a rookie, but nice try.

I'm judging him based on what he has done so far. I want to see how he does as a starter. Give him the keys to the car and see how he responds.

As for how he did against the Jags? He was 17-28 for 233 yards. WTF is wrong with that?

Whats wrong is that it was against the Jags, and he couldn't make a play when we needed it, and it nearly cost us the game.

Just like the Browns game ... couldn't make a play when we needed it.

All you are doing is looking at the stats. Sure his stats look decent, but watch the guy play. He is not a starting caliber QB

The 16 points he put up against the worst team in the league, that is whats wrong with that.

I would rather have a Qb that throws a couple of ints, but makes the plays when we need them.

Or the fact that we have not put up more than 17 points with him behind center in any game this year

He has had the keys to the car for the past couple weeks? What is wrong with 17-28 for 233 yards is that it is the ****ing Jaguars the worst team in the league that's whats wrong. Pat yourself on the back for David Carr all you want, premature if you ask me but when you say CBJ could be our QB for the next 2-3 years you lose all credibility especially when it comes to evaluating QB's.
