I actually got sympathy from the Redskin fans yesterday at the game!!!!!! Decided to drive down from NY to go to this game since it's the closest the Titans will play to me and I will go to any game that is somewhat close. This team makes me sick! I literally almost got sick as I watched what I thought would happen actually happen lol. I am down on this team for many reasons including our QB play I held out hope this team wouldn't let me down and of course they did. We did not play anything close to fundamental football! Who dives for a punt!!! why didn't we go for our first down on our last possession? Who uses 3 time outs in the first qtr? (this did not hurt us in the end thankfully) This team seems completely clueless and incompetent from management to coaching and all the way down to our players. This is the last game I go to for along time until I see some change.

On the bright side I did see quite a bit of Titans fans at the game which made me quite happy to see. I did get to yell at the players pre game and tell them how I felt about the team as a few of them looked at me and really didn't want to look at me lol. The redskin fans were all nice to us ( I went with my gf) we were able to root for our team without being heckled and didn't give us any trouble. I guess their team sucks as much as our so they know they can't talk sh** lol. I told the fans in front of us what would happen and they would win by 2 and they were shocked how right I was and I was like this is what happens when you play not to lose..... you lose!!!!!!! Sorry I had to vent on here as yesterday was frustrating after 8 hours of driving after that game and going back to work this morning.

I had to take a day to digest what I watched yesterday (posted once right after the game....was pretty irritated again with this team).

There are many negatives about the team and yesterday's game, which have been discussed alot. However, in the spirit of "hope" I do want to note a couple of positive developments that I saw from yesterday's game.

    1. Bishop Sankey looked pretty good yesterday, and looks like he is improving week by week now. It is refreshing to see a runner consistently fight for positive yardage, and more times than not get positive yards on a run regardless of the holes provided. I feel pretty good about our chances in 3rd/4th and short situations for the first time since Eddie was in his prime.

    2. With all of the OL boneheaded penalties committed yesterday (including one from a substitute on the field for one play), it is notable that Taylor Lewan did not draw a penalty yesterday (the only lineman not to be penalized I think). That is a positive sign that maybe he is settling into his role and keeping his temper under control....hopefully.

    3. While our secondary is definitely a problem right now, I thought that our D-line looked respectable yesterday...had a couple of sacks and looked good against the run. However, the run D could be more related to the Redskins' anemic run offense as well.

We have a long season ahead yet, and I am looking forward to the bye week at this point. Hopefully Mett is ready to go after the bye so that we can see what he brings to the table.

Don't disagree, but I do not think anyone should be surprised or upset with CBJ's play. He is what he was advertised to be...a career backup. He has not (and will not) do anything to actually WIN games for us, but he really has not done alot to directly lose games for us either. If the team plays well we win with him yesterday IMO.

I am ready to see what we have in Mett though....assuming that his knee is good to go. This season is over now, will really be over after next week, and we need to evaluate current talent at the position before making any offseason decisions.

If looking for anything to be hopeful about, getting decent play from your #1 and #2 draft picks is a little encouraging. I agree that Sankey seems to get that extra yard and is improving. Lewan had another good day, IMO, as well. And I was impressed with Williamson yesterday.

Webster deserves some heat for some botched drafts but it's hard to be critical of his 2014 draft so far.

There better the hell be a franchise QB in the draft because the Titans will be taking one either way.

Was at the game yesterday and saw us miss on 2 big plays along with all the other obvious miscues we had.

    - On CBJ's interception - he overthrew a wide open Delanie, whom had enough for a first down that would have put us a around their 40. Last week he missed Delanie as well in which he probably would have scored or at least a 40+ play.

    - Hunter dropped a ball that would have turned into a huge play for us. He was absent after that play

THe O-Line killed us yesterday and I would heavily blame them for us not being able to put the game away. We were at 1 and 20 several times.....this offense can't go 10 yards for a first let alone 20????

I want Williamson to be a good player for us, but sometimes I wonder if he is standing out solely because the talent surrounding him is so pitiful. Someone has to make plays ya know?

I noticed that as well and wondered if he got benched.

How is it that when the Colts suck and get a No.1/2 pick and they get to choose Peyton Manning... then the next time it happens they get to choose Luck...

Meanwhile, we get to Locker, VY and cross our fingers with Jameis Winston.
