    Someone tell me what in the world is Leon Washington still doing here???? He only sometimes (like once or twice a game) plays offense, and even when he does that he's not impressing anyone.

    And on kick return (his primary reason fore being here) he's averaging a whopping 17.3 yards per return, yes I said 17.3 yards per return.

    17.3 :disbelief:

    As things stand today that ranks Leon 51st of everyone fielding kicks. Are you telling me there's no one better for us? I realize Leon came in last year and relieved us of even worst kick return play, but that was last year. This isn't 2010 or even 2013 when Leon Washington was worth something, this is 2014 (the end of his career as far as Im concerned). We need to get him out before its too late.

    Thanks to good ol Leon, our starting field positions have been, 17-yard line (fumble), 13-yard line, 19-yard line (fielded the ball at the 11), 4-yard line (muffed the catch), 19-yard line, 13-yard line, 8-yard line.

    Leon Washington has sucked thus far. The worst part is wasting snaps on offense with him at RB. He's no threat to run the ball and can't block for ****.

    The fact that he continues to return means one of two things. One, he's all we got. Two, the coach doesn't know squat. take your pick. And yes, I fail to understand why Mariani was let go. That in itself tells me that perhaps the coaching staff isn't all that.

    If he's not fired within a few weeks I would be shocked. Guy is awful.

    Letting Mariani go was a huge mistake.

    Mariani's best skill was he was smart, he didn't waste time moving laterally and going nowhere, he made his decision and cut up field.

    Isn't Mariani still a free agent? Why not bring him back and cut Leon. We have 4 running backs anyway with Sankey, Greene, McCluster, and Battle.
