I say fire Whiz right now.
Let Ray Horton have a chance to coach the team to season's end.

I have always felt there are way too many variables to be able to decide if a new coaching staff is good or not for the first couple of seasons. I have always used Special Teams as a gauge in the early years. When you can choose from almost the entire roster to put together your group and the repetition of special team plays, it shouldn't take long to show a difference.
Well, just to sum it up...

My Son-in-Law walked in the door yesterday and I told him look, see how they are pinned on the 3 yard line? That means they already blew their special teams play, now they are about to punt after a 3 and out. As I was saying this, the punt is blocked out of the endzone for a safety. So, we flub a special teams play and get pinned on the 3, then we go 3 and out, then we have flub our special teams again...

Whisenhunt appears to be the lucky beneficiary of being in the right spots at the right time. He had an established Roethlisberger, and experienced banger Bettis. Then he had Kurt Wagner who audibled on almost every play. San Diego certainly seems better without Whisenhunt rather than with him.

If he is a QB coach? Who has he drafted and then developed into an elite QB?

Not running the ball is a serious problem, he tried to use the excuse about being down in the last few games for his reasoning, but I believe it's just Whiz being Whiz. I would've thought Whiz would've learned from his first stint as a HC, these mistakes are truly bad coaching and extremely disappointing.

No doubt that was a strike against him as well. We are up 28-3 and for some reason we stop running the ball (that has been successful) and start throwing a lot of short (mostly incomplete) passes. Completely dumbfounding.

Man those cards fans are BRUTAL. We at least gave fisher 15 years before we spoke about him that way.

But yea some ugly stuff that's rearing it's head. Why even take the first rb off the board if were not gonna use him? Can't be worse than shonne Greene.

On that note why were we all so optimistic? If there's not A sign that spells doom than Greene being your #1 back then I don't know what is.

You guys think if we only win 2-4 games that they could clean house and can him after 1 year?

Gave Fisher 15 years... but only 5 games to Whis, apparently.
