I don't think there is a QB worth taking high coming out this year.

I agree with whiz's calls in the second half, our running went dead and the line couldn't get any push from what I saw... so Whiz tried to create separation underneath with short routes to get Whitehurst in a rhythm and keep the clock moving... Whitehurst although just wasn't getting it to them... Plus I want Whiz to be aggressive like we saw if we get that 1st on the sneak we win plain and simple there is no negating that... plus the Browns were tearing the defense apart so there is no faith to put the game in their hands, if CBJ just knew how run a sneak this wouldn't be a issue WTF would you just stand straight up and take baby steps!!! that **** baffles me

The more I think about today's game the nausea gets deeper.

Good, we need DBs and pass rushers. We also need a guard that can play.

I'm almost willing to bet that sneak was CBJ's first ever for an NFL team.

I had to wait a bit before posting....that 2nd half was just excruciating to watch, and I had to cool off.

I agree that, at this point, I see no upside to playing Locker more. Yeah he was fired up, and I love his attitude, but today he did what I feared he would do when discussing him in the preseason....revert into gladiator mode. It was just a matter of time before he got hurt again IMO...if it wasn't the little hand injury it would have been something worse when he was doing his Joe Kapp imitation. Also, he did miss a couple of passes again, which is more of the norm for him. If he were under contract and we needed to trade him, I might dangle him out there on the field to increase our return. However, he is a FA, and thus at this point has no value to us on the field IMO (unless the other QBs go down as well).

CBJ showed us all why he has been a backup for 9 seasons....great arm and accuracy, but when the going got tough, he choked. Looked incredibly indecisive as the game got closer. I would agree about starting Mett, assuming that his knee is 100%. If not I would stumble along with CBJ until Mett is ready.

After the hit on Locker, our team went into "stupid mode", trying to exact revenge. I get that, but at some point there is still a game to play, and today the extended fit we threw about the Locker hit cost us on several occasions IMO.

Coaching....wow, that was disappointing to watch. It was like we were playing to not lose in the second half, and that rarely succeeds. Also, I agree with the decision to go for it on 4th and 1, but Whitehurst???? WTF??? That was just plain stupid IMO. Whis had better acknowledge this during his post game comments IMO. He is big on accountability, and needs to take some himself for today's effort.

You know, I used to enjoy Sundays in the fall. That is quickly becoming a fading memory.
