2 Press Corners and 2 OLB's is all we need

Easier said than done.

Every time we get a "guaranteed" player in FA, they **** the bed. Like Levitre & Woodyard = Garbage.

Also can't forget about those "most pro ready" players we've been drafting like Morgan and Warmack.

 

....i'd say we need an elite QB, CB, OLB/DE, and WR... THEN were talking playoffs baby..

I somewhat agree. McCourty actually hurts this team more than helps. He plays soft coverage. However he is a good tackler. So I wouldn't mind him as our #2 corner.

 

That really is our main issue, we have so many good No.2's playing No.1 roles we're at a disadvantage from the get-go.

I like McCourty, a sure tackler at CB is not easy to find, most CB's are soft as pudding, but his style would be best served locking in on teams 2nd WR's. Same for just about everyone else we have on defense. When we see elite talent we have nothing to combat it with.

 

If we could get a top notch WR, CB, and pass rusher all our worries would be gone, we could even keep Locker and still win games.

We're not expected to lose any of our top players in 2015, filling 3 holes in March seems easy. Then get a QB (maybe even 2) in the draft and watch out. Titans are closer than you may thing.

 

No kidding. I say we avoid any player with the "most pro ready" label from now on.

 

Just heard Locker is starting this week on ESPN. FML. Wiz doesn't get it.

 

We will have to have at least one good WR. Isn't this the last year on Nate's contract? I sure don't see resigning him. To be honest if Hunter doesn't come around soon we will need 2.

I see some positives from Williamson at ILB. He isn't great, but for a rookie he seems to be catching on.

We need pass rushing OLBs in a bad way. 2 would be nice, but if we get one that is a good pass rusher (That actually gets a hand on the QB) and one good in coverage we would be doing much better than we are now.

 

If we are not really active in FA we will have a tough time come camp. There is no way we can fill all the starting rolls we need to through the draft.
