People who gripe about PSL holders selling their tickets often have not experienced the "joy" of the ticket prices. They are outrageous.

We've discussed ad nauseum in other threads the value of the game day experience. Losing at home greatly diminishes the game day experience for many. Plus a lot of folks who went to games over 10 years at "The Coliseum" are now older and have other competing interests.

The failure of the organization to produce a winning (and exciting) brand of football has not equally captured the interest of the next generation of people in the Nashville encatchment area. My son (now 18) still likes to go with me to games but most likely will never buy tickets himself after he graduates.

Not only is our on the field product not that great, but we are probably starting an era of 'not so great' football all around.

Good point...I had not thought too much about this before, but I can see this as well.

Between all of the new rules (making defense closer to basketball defense), lack of preseason practice thanks to the new CBA, and a whole generation of players who were taught to lead with their helmet having to relearn how to tackle, I see a bit of a dip in quality coming as well.

Just so you understand these are two extra season tickets we own...we will be in our regular seats agonizing with the rest of the Titan's fans.

However, I agree that there are way too many fans selling their tickets to the opposing team's fans. It would not be so bad if we actually could win at home.

I have wondered about this as well. 1999-2004 is getting to be a long time ago, and I know that I am not the rabid fan now that I was then....partly due to the product, but also partly due to age. Most of you all (original PSL holders) are probably in the same age range as me. As you mention, fielding scrubs for the majority of the past 10 years has likely kept that next generation of "rabid" fans from getting fully engaged. That is unfortunate, because I think that Nashville is a great town for an NFL team.

Yeah, without a winning tradition, it's almost impossible to have a rabidly passionate fanbase. The Browns are one of the only exceptions I can think of.

Other than regional support (Nashville kids) I don't see a lot of the new generation becoming Titans fans, unless they get some difference-makers and some wins in a hurry.

Even the proud Titans fans are less proud (like myself.) They gotta give us something to cling to. Hopefully 2015-2025 won't be as bad as 2004-2014.

Naw. I 'd have to hold out on the deal for gas and beer money to get there and then to drown my sorrows.

Being that I live in NC I can't get season tickets. However I have been to several games and for the most part there are tons of the other teams fans.
