At first, I was excited about this hire, but now I'm starting to worry that it was another bad one. Has Whisenhunt ever accomplished anything without Kurt Warner? San Diego's offense has gotten better since he left. Last year, our WR's were one of our strengths and now they are one of our biggest weaknesses. Considering how young they are(Wright and Hunter), they should be progressing, not regressing. Check out this old article with comments from Matt Leinert. I know he was a bust, but these comments are kind of alarming coming from a former player. We had the chance to hire Mike Zimmer and we should have IMO.

These Leinart comments are old news. He has an ax to grind because Whis benched his sorry @$$. He takes a shot at Whis whenever possible.

Regardless whether he has a grudge against Whiz or not, hard to argue with what he said.

Yeah but it carries more weight if it's coming from a guy who doesn't have a grudge.

He's had a lot of good QBs to work with... Warner, Rivers, Roethlisberger. But you can't hold that against him. Bottom line, only time will tell how good of a coach Whis is. We damn sure don't know after 4 games. And we damn sure don't come to that conclusion over some comments from a guy who hates him.

Too early to say. Too early to judge Zimmer too.

To be fair, Rivers and Warner had been elite QB's BEFORE Whiz, but also fell on tough times before Whiz resurrected them both back to Elite status. Does that mean he can groom a non-elite QB? I guess we'll find out!

He was also a great offensive cord in pittsburgh. But some things are troubling. The hard head attitude that sankey is not playing and Levitre is still on the field. We need our best players on the field. Even on defense I havent seen whimbley do anything lets try ayers? Why in the world was leon washington on the field? Why is he on the team? Let McCluster do both kickoffs and punts.

Leon Washington asctually did well for us in the return game last year.

Well Orton said it would take about 4 games for the 3-4 defense to start to come together and gel for this team. Well we are going on our fifth game..

Our schedule was tough and now we have 2 easy games coming up that we need to win.....lets see what happens.

I expect Locker to rebound after sitting out....this is his last chance pretty much!

If I were coach, I would tweak a few things.

I do not think that the coaches are the problem. Watch our QB throw. Watch our Wr's try to catch. Watch our defense.

Thats not coaching, thats lack of good players.
