Titans at Colts: Postgame Discussion

Welcome to the franchise. It's been a disappointment every year since the oilers joined the NFL.

 

We just wanna watch football and get into our team as an escape from some of life's stresses (at least speaking for myself) and this team the last couple of years deprives of all hope so early. Today all was disastrous, If Mett (i know he's just a rook) at least played well I would've felt good about something but this team gives NOTHING. Of course I will keep rooting but this has become unbelievable and all i can honestly do is laugh. I want to keep hearing the interviews with Pollard etc, and all the hot air. The only thing I'm looking forward to is our players cracking in interviews and keeping it all the way real as to how bad we SUCK. I'm disappointed to say the least, they leave us nothing and I'm not even asking for much.

 

But what do we expect? We played a weak hurt Chiefs team and everybody got so into this team. We have a defense even the coordinator said would take 8 weeks to get down. What players are different this year that played last year? We have same QB, sane OL minus Oher. Same WR, gave two new running backs, Mclusters and sankey. On defense , what new players? These same players are trying to learn new systems. This is rebuilding. We need some new players. Not all them but we have weaknesses on both sides of the ball. Going to take time.

 

no way Hunter would have lasted, that is why the Titans moved up to get him.

He might only be a workout warrior but that height + speed + college production meant he was going soon.



I understand your frustration, and this might be the koolaide talking, but I think RW has shaken up the scouting department and they have actually gotten some decent players the last couple of years. Granted the jury is still out on BWW (although the verdict is certainly looking bad for him - lol) Schwenke & Sankey off the top of my head are contributing.

Wizenhunt will brutalize this roster in the offseason. (koolaide talk I know)

 

Anybody else wishing we had taken Bridgewater over a backup lineman today?

 

Not really since you do not just draft for one year. And plenty of QBs look great early only to suck once defenses figure out their fatal flaw(s). Bridgewater is nothing special. He is likely to flame out just like Christian Ponder did.

 

These are pretty much my thoughts exactly. I'm tired of my ball teams causing more anxiety in my life. Finally.. FINALLY.. my college team is coming around. Still waiting on this team.

All I want is more than just a couple of wins to enjoy in a season. We have talent on our team.. we may not be all that great but we arent terribly untalented. I'm not sure what's up with the lack of motivation and teamsmanship but I feel like if we can just get folks on board and motivated, this team can have a decent season at least

 

Our scout team has sucked for years. YEARS.

And yet... we know nothing of them, really. Time to put the spotlight on those bums, for once.

 

I wish there was a way to actually contact the Titans. I would love to be able to harass them into hiring some new scouts & a GM. If enough fans did that they may actually listen. Fire Webster signs at games. Maybe if one gets on TV we finally get some of the attention where it needs to be, on the guy putting these players on our roster!
