Expectations if Whitehurst gets the start?

The Locker talk has pretty much taken over but Levitre is ass. At least most of us like Jake personally.I don't know a thing about Levitre all I know is he sucks when bull-rushed.

 

I'm expecting one more game leaving me wondering why the hell am I a Titans fan??

 

I say let Locker play at Indy. Let him go down in a ball of fire, sacked, humiliated, picked and defeated. Let CPJ or Mett start at home against Browns or Tarp Kitties.

 

Either way JC, as long as it's NOT #10.

 

Where is Mett outperforming them? Mett has a better arm than Locker and CW, but he has no real NFL experience, no experience dealing with NFL defenses in real game situations, and doesn't know the offense as well as CW.

 

The only problem with your scenario is that Mett's stats are against 2nd, 3rd, and lower string players. Also, preseason defenses don't run any complicated coverages or game planned schemes so you have no idea what he'd look like against a real NFL defense in a real game situation.

NFL coaches get paid to win, not throw seasons away on 6th rnd QB's. Id agree Mett is much more talented on the field than a 6th rnd pick, but Whiz isnt gonna gamble his coaching gig on Mett when he hasnt seen him in real action and if you do that now, you probably throw away the season. Whiz will try to play whomever he thinks gives the team the best chance to win unless we are out of the playoff race. Then you play people for the future.
