CJ looks like it did not take the Jets long

Give him some serious time with the Jugs machine then.. can't be too hard. Getting him in space is his only hope.

And if that doesn't work for CJ, then he's done-zo!

 

BUT, you just don't get it....when Ivory is on the field the defense is playing to stop Geno Smith and the passing game and.......

CJ was my favorite player in the NFL despite his recent struggles, mainly because of how much i loved watching him when he first arrived. I figured I would still enjoy watching him even though he signed with another team.

Now without the two tone blue glasses, I can say he looks damn awful.

There's no reason he should be getting more PT than Ivory or Powell at this point.

 

Show me where you said that b/c I got torn up for saying that we were a 5-6 win team this season! I don't remember all who went crazy on me for thinking that but I bet you were one of them!

 

This is the one contention that I still take issue with. CJ's effort isn't the problem. He tries to fight for extra yards he just isn't good at it. Sometimes guys take a bad angle or hit him from the side and he's able to churn out some yac but usually the first guy just stands him up and then the rest of the D finishes him. He's just as strong a runner as he once was.

 

No I was not one of them (I would not be overly surprised if we get less than 7 wins this season either, since it is our first season in a completely new system on both O and D), and you can search any preseason thread where we were making predictions about how the team was going to perform this season to see my prediction.

 

He doesn't run behind his pads, no effort.

 

Our current rushing stats.....nobody is under 4.0 and we would have a lot more yards on the ground if we wouldn't have to dis the running game because we have been behind....

Why do the Titans always hang onto players long after they start to decline? Longer than any other franchise, I believe. You don't see the Patriots doing that, and you don't see the Titans after the regular season ends.
