Has the media up there gone after him, yet? They usually aren't very reasonable...

 

Isn't he getting paid more than both Ivory and Powell?

I'm a CJ fan, but that is inexcusable.

If he keeps this up, I could see him seriously getting cut later on in the year.

No reason to pay a 3rd string RB 4 mil a year.

 

I don't see him getting cut this season. But I will not be at all surprised if he's cut after the season.

 

His days of even being a #2 back in a two-back system are done. Someone will sign him to fill a Danny Woodhead/Dexter McCluster role but that's about it.

I wonder if he'd do well being a returner again. He was a good one in college but obviously he was too valuable in his first few NFL seasons to do that job.

 

Gotta have great hands out the backfield to do fill that role.

and on MNF he dropped a wide open pass out in the flats. Surprised Rex didn't immediately bench him afterwards.

Beat me to this....back in 2011 I thought he could transition to more of a McCluster type back as well, but when watching him with Hasselback (Captain Checkdown, as he was known then) that season, CJ just never struck me as being a really good receiver. Still doesn't.
