Not sure why everyone can't handle a hypothetical. QB A doesn't have to be Winston. He's just a SUPERIOR PROSPECT BAD CHARACTER vs B. WORST PROSPECT BETTER CHARACTER. I'm assuming everyone on here is fine drafting Jake Locker all over again. Mettenberger isn't exactly an altar boy either, don't forget that.

And I do think Winston will be considered. I do think he's top 2 prospect. Comparing him to Tebow is just dumb. Sorry for partying.

Plz 10000% stay away from Winston.

Hard to evaluate Mariota in that O, but he sells me more and more every week. Mariota >>>

I like (don't love) Hundley & Cook also.

You called him "Hameis Hinston" and you're wondering why everyone assumed you were talking about Jameis Winston?

But like I said, I'd rather not draft either one of your options. And if those for whatever reason are my only two options give me a FA vet and we'll try again next year.

Draft a pass rusher or cornerback.

Well. Yea. It was a joke clearly.

This team doesn't draft a franchise QB next year and it's just one more f'n year treading in mud going no where. It's a QB league now and the Fitzpatrick/hasselbeck/Collins scabs won't cover the real wound.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for us to draft a QB next year (assuming Mett sucks). But I'd rather us pass altogether than take the wrong guy. If you pass then there's always next year. If you take the wrong guy then you wasted not only next year but the next and the next. And maybe even the next (Locker). Or even the next (VY).

Like I said earlier, with all we've been through at the QB position over the past decade I just would not in a million years draft a guy like Winston with red flags all over him. If you can't find a talented guy with decent character and moderate intelligence in the draft then I say why even bother.

If you don't have a franchise QB, should should take one in every draft.

Because these days, you aren't winning games without one.

It is so true. We should be taking a QB in the 3rd every year. We're bound to find the next Russel :p

You're right, drafting the wrong guy puts you back 4-5 years. Just like our awful last 10 years could be described in short by 2 names: Vince Young & Jake Locker.

BUT we desperately need to find a franchise QB man. I hope they try again this summer, because I can't take this 'ish anymore Lol. I'm ALL IN for Mariota.
