It's a pride hit, but he certainly could have done it if he chose to.

I just don't think most captains want to go back to swabbing the poop deck. ;)

Matthews was totally pathetic.. jeez.. was he bad. Had to be one of the most underqualified coaching staffs in modern history.

Could you imagine Cincy pulling that s*** on the Seahawks D ? Dalton would have been taken out on a stretcher after that play had they tried that against anyone other than a first year starter who literally looked like he had no idea what to do when he realized Dalton was the guy catching the pass.

Blidi has been pretty woeful tho this point, but he has gone up against AJ Green and Dez B so as a second year starter I give him a few more games to get his s*** together, I am with you on Levitre and Locker, both mega dogs at this point and yes I would take CBJ or Mett over Locker at this point, because the 4 year odyssey is over at this point if you ask me. Locker is a weak career b/u option at best, it's amazing how the franchise can continue to make so many awful mistakes at drafting QBs. McNair has been the lone exception in my 30+ years of being a fan and man this is getting old...

I've got to get this off my chest...

Blidi Wreh-Wilson needs to be riding the pine. That play actually made me embarrassed that he was playing for the team I love so much. Usually when I see a play that pathetic it's from another team, like the Jags or Browns or some other horrible team, but this was my team. He looks like the worst starting corner in the NFL after three weeks, I don't give a crap who we've played against.

That play was a personification of the Titans as a whole over the past six or so years. Pathetic, frustrating, embarrassing, infuriating, I could go on and on but what's the point. He's talented and young so we hear from Wiz, so he'll be starting and embarrassing himself, the team and the fan base. :anon:

It's like we've just been trying to replicate McNair ever since he left. But you can't just draft a running QB and expect we're going to have the same success we did with McNair.

I swear, if Mett ends up sucking and we draft another QB next year, I am going to flip my s*** if we take another running QB. Give me a flipping pocket passer with sound mechanics, PLEASE. Actual quarterbacking fundamentals should be higher priority than how much of an athlete a guy is. This should be common sense.
