We offered verner more money and he walked proving your premise wrong. Don't start any more nonsense threads and hire a financial advisor for your personal savings

We offered more to Verner, but not enough. Considering that #25 was the best of what they had in camp, Verner can't go, period, if you are committed to winning.

The title of the thread calls out ownership, not players or coaches. If you don't think that ownership could be in this game just for the $$$, then obviously you are naive when it comes to pro-sports.

Pro owners can easily field mediocre teams on the cheap each year and just bank on civic pride and history to keep the fans coming to games and watching on TV. The Titans ownership seems to be trending that way, with the sellout streak and PSL's sold every year to watch a mediocre to bad product on the field.

Again I recommend you have a financial advisor to manage your personal money if you are dense enough to believe that ownership isn't aware that championships will bring in more revenue.

Sure , championships will bring in more revenue, but only 1 team will it it all every year. Fielding a mediocre team with a naive fan base will also make money as well (ask the Chicago Cubs, the Los Angeles Clippers (until reecntly), the Florida Marlins, Tennessee Titans, etc.).

I don't know what else to tell you except you are wrong. You are frustrated as any fan would be, but to suggest that ownership doesn't care about building a championship team is asinine.
