    Exactly. And we need to give Mett enough games to properly evaluate him. Not just a couple of garbage games at the end of the season. I don't want to blow a high draft pick on QB if Mett is the guy. And I also don't want to pass on a high draft pick if he isn't.

    Mett not getting meaningful extended snaps this season would be a damn near fireable offense in my book. Not because Mett is some sure thing but because it would display an inability to do our due diligence.

    Why so hard on our qb....he had more yards that Andy....and Cincinnati has the top 2 defenses in the league,and Epson were saying they should be at top in power rankings....and look at manning qb yards,not much better so far....

    Because he's coming off a horrible game just last week and he's making the same mistakes. BTW, the Rams backup QB put up 327 and 3 TDs on the Cowboys today.

    Because I don't like the Titans losing. Being a fan of the team and all, I'd much rather them win. Jake Locker played a terrible game today. He wasn't the only Titan that did (BWW!!!!!!) but the QB position is the most important position there is in football. Therefore, when the QB plays terrible, I'm likely to be hard on him.

    locker has regressed this season. maybe he is trying too hard. it is a dangerous sign for a guy in a make or break season. there is little hope he will reverse the trend at this point.
