I mean, it's obvious he's not used to actually playing quarterback.

Are we blaming the WR's or the defense?

I'm not going to get on Jake much for the top one. Maybe everyone was covered and he sensed pressure so wanted to run but didn't find a lane in time.

The bottom one was a horrible miss and he has to make that throw. He had Battle as well if he felt he the window was too tight.

I don't recall hardly anyone making excuses for Jake. Nearly everyone I heard agreed how awful his first half was... but, the receivers were also guilty...

That top one is worth noting too, they call that "seeing ghosts". He got rattled and panicked when there was no pressure. I understand that he has a time clock, but you have to be aware of what's going on around you.

Check out a similar play by Tom Brady and see how he plays it.

WTF are you on about? Those plays are in no way similar.

Brady has at least 6 seconds with no pressure while Oher & Warmack are beat right off the LOS.

Locker has terrible pocket presence, accuracy issues, off target, erratic when his first read isn't open. Locker is also incapable of reading defenses and also inconsistent. He lacks the basic skills to make it as a starting QB. Also lets not forget that the past couple seasons that he has missed 14 of his potential 32 starts due to injuries. At halftime of the Dallas game Locker had a 7.6 passer rating. Would you sign a long term deal after this season with a QB with this potential?

They may have been beat off the line but the pocket held up. When Locker panicked, another 1.7-ish seconds passed until a defender actually got inside the pocket. The other three defenders weren't even close.

This may have just been one play, but it can't be a common thing for a successful QB.

It would have been easier , taken less time and made you look less silly if you had just said " I dont like Jake Locker and wish he was the Titans QB" Locker has the " basic skills " to be an NFL starting QB. Whether he will turn out to be a good one or not is still to be seen.

it's his 4th year in the league and he still doesn't know how to audible at the line, read the defense or go through his progressions....enough said
