Pros: If you are into the outdoor stuff like hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowboarding etc....then you will love it. Prettiest place in the summer with all the mountains and greenery. New architecture everywhere and niceley developed neighborhoods. People are freindly and helpful, but only surface wise. Great sports town with the Hawks and Mariners. Lots of bars and coffee shops (home of starbucks).

Cons: Weather is what they say....rain and misty most of the year. 50's and 60's seem a lot colder because of the dampness. Hard to make freinds as people are very to themselves or in there own clicks...lots of readers and dog lovers (nothing wrong with that, but it seems that is their best freind). Worst place to meet people if you are single.

I was offered to stay their permanently for work, but denied the offer as Seattle is not for me. I grew up in the east coast so it was hard for me to adjust to the people and the lifestyle there. Lots of rave, goth, skateboarders, over there....nothing wrong with that, but not my crowd. Most of the people there seem like they are sedated on something......I assume the weather has a lot to do with this.

This is just from my experience!

Middle Tennesseee the vast majority of my life.

a few months in Knoxville as a student
    4 years in Omaha Nebraska
    a year in Dallas Texas
6 years in Alice Springs Northern Territory Australia. I visited Hawaii, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and every state in Australia during that time including Tasmania

I have been in every ocean except the Artic, well at least touched them. I stuck my hand in the Antarctic Ocean during a boat tour leaving from StrahanTasmania.

Saw a humpback and her baby on a fishing trip while in Broome. Picked up my alltime favorite Tshirt there.

It seems like a common thing in America to move out of state.

Because there is not much opportunity for young people in Tennessee.

Also, it is fairly easy to up and move for work. One of the best things about this country.

image.jpg Have a interview with the Magic today, landed in Orlando this morning.

For a state called "The Sunshine State" it's not very sunny.
