I expected a sack or two against the Ravens in Baltimore. Was very surprised that Andy stayed clean.

It's partly due to Dalton getting the ball out of his hands quickly. He's handling pressure very well so far this year. It was an all out blitz last week that resulted in the 77 yard TD from Sanu.

So, if you blitz a lot...good. Bring it.

But, if you can get pressure with just your front 4, then it'll be a big boost for the Titans.

Gio Bernard is going to do to us what Charles should have done in week 1. I honestly don't see how we win this game. Even if Jake plays more like week 1 than week 2, I still don't think it'll be enough. Bengals are a legit good team. We can't luck our way into beating them.

This! Locker just plays lights out when it's fast paced with quick throws. He's close to brilliant when they go no-huddle. It boils down to not giving him time to over-think his throws. I think that will also be fixed with time as he gets more and more comfortable. For now though, hit the gas and go full speed with the offense!

Sounds like you think Locker is the "Newt LaLouch" (Bull Durham reference for you kids out there, though it may be misspelled) of the Titans....."don't think, just throw".

I can see that, though.....it does appear that he is more accurate when the pass is more of a reflex move.

andy can really stink up the joint sometimes...

i'm hoping he has one of those games that makes people wonder why the F Cini gave him 115m...

and even that might not be enough the way their D is playing...

    Ha, no kidding.

I think people are going to realize just how bad of a play-caller Jay Gruden was, though. He abandoned the run game at the drop of a hat and would ask Andy to throw the ball 50+ times in a game. When that happens, INTs are sure to follow.

Hue, however, is completely committed to the run and isn't putting too much on Andy's shoulders. He's calling for a lot of quick passes and easy completions rather than asking Andy to put the ball into a tight window 30 yards down the field.

But yes...if the Titans can find a way to shut the running game down, then the Bengals may have no choice. We'll see which Andy shows up.

For sure... remember this 3-game stretch?

Ray needs to go all-in and stop the run. Its the only hope. And the O cannot leave the D out there for the whole game.

We need to keep it low scoring and hold on to the ball... that's probably the only hope...

Saw a stat yesterday that said Dalton has dropped back to pass 63 times and hasn't been hit once.. That's going to be a key to the game. And obviously stopping the run because we did a very poor job of that on Sunday.

Locker will bounce back and we will put up some points up against your defense. When our offense is clicking it's pretty good. I do worry a little bit about protecting Jake but I think we will have a lot of short routes early on to get everyone in a rhythm. It's what we lacked early vs dallas.

This game comes down to defense. Which titans defense will show up this week? That will be the difference.
