Jake just REALLY needs to get into a rhythm. I feel like when he starts missing passes, then he gets frustrated and starts forcing them and misses them even worse. Once he completes some passes and settles in, then he start playing much better.

1st half yesterday he just couldn't get going. Whatever adjustments they made at half time seemed to work and make Jake comfortable, but was just too late.

I said it mid 1st quarter, we HAVE to get jake in a rhythm, for whatever reason we waited too long to call the easy throws. everybody goes this route with their QB's, why Whiz waited is a mystery.

I didn't realize that Whiz was the reason Jake air mailed half of his throws the first half... Its not Whiz's job to get Jake in a rhythm, Its Jakes job to execute the play given and create his own rhythm, it whiz's job to call plays that create match ups that jake can take advantage of, Whiz did his diligence by creating a good gameplan and playcalls don't believe go watch the all-22 and look at how many wide open recievers we had and plenty time in the pocket for the most part.... Jake whiffed horribly there is no sugar coating it he cost the team the game....

Kirk Cousins sucks. I look forward to someone trading away a high draft pick for him and getting Rob Johnsoned.

he alone did not lose this game for us. WR's dropped balls, defense was all types of confused, kick returners made terrible choices.

yes Jake was less than great, no doubt about that, but it is on the playcallers shoulders to get his QB in a rhythm. Any half good OC knows this and uses high percentage passes to start off with.

LOL...it is for that very reason that I take arguments that exclusively use stats with a grain of salt.

Someone who did not watch the game yesterday would look at the stats and think that he did reasonably well, having no idea that he was horrible in the first half and largely responsible for wearing down our D. This, when coupled with his complete ineptness in the first half, largely can be attributed to causing this game to get away from us.

Stats are cool, but they should never be used as a sole indicator of player performance...this just illustrates why IMO.
