Pump The Brakes.....Again

I'm curious if that is more a result of Dallas choosing to make Romo a hand off machine rather than us stopping their air attack.

 

This was like totally threadworthy and tings like dat.

 

Oh my god I had a thought in my head... let me go make a thread about it.

 

dallas was able to run the ball and be successful at it. They kept at it since it was working the whole game. They threw it to dez so he can be satisfied with himself. He was looking pissed on the sidelines when they weren't throwing the ball to him.

This might have been a different ball game if we shut down their running game early since we were getting romo pressure.

TWL2 is right for once. I tried to tell everyone not to be so cocky about this game. One win against probably the most depleted roster in the NFL and all of a sudden everyone here gets a big head and overlooks a worthy opponent. Dallas is a Jekyll & Hyde type team who can look like one of the worst teams in the league one week and then come out and win soundly the next. And we made it easy on them yesterday by putting up zero offense in the first half and effectively shooting our defense in the foot.

But it's only week 2 and we have 14 games to go. It was an out of conference loss. And depending on what happens tonight we still might be sitting alone in 2nd place in the division and only one game back from 1st. We're a work in progress and to expect us not to hit a few bumps in the road during a transition year is extremely naive.
