A lot of the PSL's are owned by ticket agencies, who sell to the highest bidder. Titan fans just aren't willing to out bid other teams fans, and that won't change until they start winning something.

This. Teams like the Cowboys, Steelers, Patriots, etc.. have a large loyal fan base because they've been around forever and they have a history of winning. The Titans have a history of nothing. Frankly, the organization can't expect to have loyal fans that show up week in and week out until they deliver a good product.

 

Who wants to pay top dollar to go see an inferior product on the field?

We don't have a long lineage of being a winning, championship franchise that the fans will stand behind and root on through the rough patches because they know it's only a matter of time before they get back to their winning ways. Other than a few years we have been consistently mediocre or even worse just plain bad.

Winning over the long term is what will create a loyal fan base and get the media recognition on a national level we all desire. Until then we're just a footnote with an occasional flash.

 

Is that not the case for every team/stadium around the league though? This is not a problem most other teams have.

 

Yes it is. It is the case in nearly every market outside of a select few.

Look at Dallas last week.

The secondary ticket market is huge.

 

No doubt about it. Still, we're talking about our home opener. The fans shouldn't be giving up in the 1st quarter.
