KC was a must win, any AFC team, especially wild card potential teams, are must wins.

 

No, it is not. Not at all. Could lose and go 15-1.

 

no one who loses to Dallas is going 15-1, if we actually stand half a chance at such a record, we must squash these neophytes while theyre down.

 

Good teams beat the teams they are supposed to beat especially at home.

 

With only 16 games in a season, every game is very important. But to say this is a "must win" is really overselling the importance of one game. Particularly an out of conference game.

I think people are are taking way too much away from week 1. All of a sudden everyone is on our nuts and we're looking down on other teams because we beat a depleted Chiefs team. And Dallas is a bottom 5 team because they looked like a joke versus San Fran (one of the better teams in the league). Well the truth very well could end up being that these two teams are both closer to one another than we might think right now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very high on this team and I expect a W today. But let's not overstate the importance of this game and trivialize the opponent too much. They have a very talented (albeit mistake prone) QB, one of the best receivers in the game, and a pretty damn good run game. If we were to lose to them it wouldn't be the end of the world. We still have a competitive football team with 14 games to go.

 

Very true !! Hard to determine how good team is from one win or one loss. Hope we play smart and handle business. Remember before last week we talked about the shape our defense was in during preseason. Now after one game we being raved about ? Last week was good. But it was last week.

Under old regimes this is the type of game we come out dull. We got the big win against a depleted team, now we have another chance at a win with another deleted team. We better come ready to play and smack them in the mouths.

 

I agree you should beat the teams you're supposed to beat. But my point is that after one week of football games it's still hard to definitively tell who we should and shouldn't beat. The bottom line is we played one of the worst rosters in the league last Sunday and the boys played one of the best.

And also even great teams drop games they shouldn't every now and then. As long as you don't make a habit of it, like Munch did, then it's not really the end of the world.

In all seriousness though, that is literally the worst cable Sports show on TV, and might be the worst of all time.

How you can make an hour long show with no content is astonishing to me.
