Did I miss the picture of him holding his kid up and slamming it into the ground repeatedly until it was dead? Did I miss that?

 

I just saw this. Crazy. I was spanked as a kid, and all of mine have gotten a few in their lives, but nowhere near as many as I had, and none of us as bad as AP did his child there.

My parents used a belt, and yeah, I've had to get my own switch a few times, but the one I'm fondest of was the yardstick my folks kept in the narrow space between our oven and the pantry. I could always hear it being drawn, like a wooden sword from a metal sheath. When I heard that sound, I knew I was in trouble. I learned it was better to be in no trouble. Or very little.

The only right thing to do would be to suspend AP from the NFL indefinitely, very similar situation to with Rice. People SHOULD be pissed about this, this is unreal how a grown ass man thinks it is acceptable to discipline a child like that.

 

If they kick Ray Rice out for beating his wife they have to kick Adrian for beating his son. It doesn't send a very good message to say abusing women is wrong and abusing kids is ok.

I hope at some point in the next 15 weeks the main discussions are about football and not off the field behavior of players.

I'm really not interested in the NFL for everyone's personal laundry, demons, problems, issues, etc.
