He fell to like the 9th or 10th (before suspension) in another league of mine, and I took him.

Even with this four game suspension, I think he's worth a pick in the 10th or later.

He probably should've rested the first couple games anyways due to the concussion.

Well this is no shock. I had figured all a long he probably used PEDs to get over his injury.

"Wow, Welker is so tough coming back from that injury so fast."

He will probably be horrible when he gets back. Guys who roid then stop roiding are generally garbage for a year. There is an adjustment period while their body gets used to the absence of the chemicals.

Just saying late round in a 12 team league I am taking flyers on players anyhow. More than willing to take a flyer on Welker over most of the guys out there in the late rounds.

Probably wouldn't take him in an 8 team league. It would be a toss up in a ten team league, but more than likely wouldn't take him.

He took molly. Guy was just trying to roll his face off and have a good time.

    Newsflash all NFL players juice.

Or there's the Gerald McRath/Merriman types who get revealed that they are nothing without the roids.

How the heck is Molly considered a PED? Even if it is cut with amphetamine? So if a player is diagnosed with ADD and prescribed medication, they're considered cheaters now?? He should get the same sentence as weed users. I believe that's one game.

Welker said it was MDMA, not the NFL.

And if someone is prescribed something, unless it is construed a performance enhancer, employers (NFL) can't penalize someone for that.

Welker was doing illegal drugs, by his own confession. He deserves whatever comes to him as a penalty.

He is a grown man, and should know better. He is over 4 years older than I am. It's a bit ludicrous for him to be popping stuff that idiot teenagers are known for. Plus, that crap can kill you. Way worse than pot, IMO.

Are players allowed to take Adderall if they have a prescription? That's a performance enhancer that I believe contains Amphetamines.

I'm not arguing whether he should or shouldn't be doing something. I don't give a crap what he does in his personal life as long as it doesn't hurt others.

What I've read says that Welker is being given the mandatory punishment for first time "performance enhancing" drug users, 4 games. My point is that Molly, MDMA, or any other recreational drug should not be punished in the same fashion as PEDs. Being an idiot, is not cheating. What's the punishment for texting and driving?

That's like saying Andre Agassi cheated by taking Crystal Meth. Seriously? That's not a performance enhancer, it's a performance reducer.
