Colts Owner Suspended

So what will be the penalty if he tweets? This **** is just retarded. Should have been a penalty levied against the team for this to mean anything.

Look, we all know that this fine and suspension is a complete sham. Goodell doesn't want to hurt the owners, he works for the owners.

He especially doesn't want to hurt the beloved Colts. If this were the Titans, I am sure the punishment would be different. Its no secret that Goodell has a clear agenda with his 'punishments' that he hands out, and unless there is a public outcry (ala Ray Rice), Goodell has no shame in it either ... the only reason that anything was done to Irsay is just for public perception. I bet Goodell got together with Irsay and they both outlined what the punishment would be so that it would look 'legit' but have no effect on the owner/team at all.

If Goodell really wanted to make a statement, then he would've done something to hurt the team, like take away picks ... because then the problem would be fixed

 

I think we all agree the fine was weak. Dude's a billionaire. I read something that said the 500,000 dollar fine was like the equivalent of $14 for someone who makes 50,000/year.

 

Sure his net worth is in the billion range, but you dont think it stings to lose half a mil? You know how much drugs that could have been to Irsay?

 

Doubt it stung too much. He's worth 1.7 billion. He would have to be fined half a mill 3,400 times to go broke.
