Added was Kris Durham, the college teammate and good friend of Matt Stafford. He is a 6'6" possession receiver made expendable when the Lions beefed up their WR unit in the offseason.

The CB is former Texans :texansbs: second round pick Brandon Harris.

To make room for these guys, and former Bills WR TJ Graham, the Titans cut Michael Preston, Khalid Wooten and Steve Vallos.

LOL, I was a little shocked by that one myself. A guy like that while he may not be a game breaker fills a valuable niche. None of our big 3 WRs are really the physical type so Durham fits in well.

    Some numbers on him:

    Height: 6-6 Weight: 216 Age: 26

    Born: 3/17/1988 Rome , GA

    College: Georgia

    Experience: 4th season

    High School: Calhoun HS [GA]

Yeah, I read he was a good possession guy. And I guess he's farther along than Preston. I hated losing Preston's speed, but I guess that's why we got Graham, though.

My hardest-to-call call was paper scouting McCourty and wanting him as our latest crack at a Woolfolk-type corner, except McCourty ran a 4.3 at Rutgers and could actually play corner.

Now if you're ever wrong about anything, I can pick you back up by saying, "Well, you'll always have Kris Durham. Remember that."

I was hoping for this....just because he's my friend in real life. Went to school together, played basketball together, etc. He may not be the fastest, but he's got a good frame, and has solid hands to pick up a much needed first down.

Hope he can be that 4th receiver and help us out when called upon.

Very cool man. And a guy like that is always useful. Also like to hear he played basketball. A lot of transferable skills between that and playing WR.

    Kris Durham?

He will almost certainly be the 4th WR and considering his size, might be used a fair bit once he catches on to the playbook.

Good moves - don't want to dig up old bones but have to say I like what Whiz has done, drafted, cut, added, etc. and I truly believe we can finally put the Fisher/Munchak losing era the last few years behind us. Now we need a kicker -
