    Mett is proving to be what the "expert" scouts said he would be before the draft. (sans knee injury)

    Locker has proved to be what the "expert" scouts said he would be during his 3 year tenure. Like I posted above, Locker has a chance to stick after this year but a lot has to happen.

    Right now Andy Dalton is the bench mark. If Jake Locker puts up Dalton-like numbers you have no choice but to pay the man.

    This day in age the next QB up for a contract gets paid quite well.

    Jake's not stupid, he knows Hunter/Wright are going to set him up for a great 2014 campaign. But in todays market QB's get paid first.
