Would you sign one of them, either now, or if the preseason doesn't improve from a CB standpoint?

Obviously, this is aimed at Sensabaugh (sorry, dude).

We've got the money. I know Samuel pretty much fell of, Houston had "a toe" -- I don't know what else was going on with him -- and Jammer is just aged, but I think we clearly need help here.

What say you all, and do you have other recommendations?

Sensabaugh told whatever-the-sideline-reporter's-name-is that he "didn't know how he was going to recover from getting repeatedly torched against New Orleans."

    THAT DON'T SOUND GOOD.

    Yeaahhh...

and this is what happens when you f things up with your best corner.

    Now we're screwed there.

I'd rather take a younger guy that's been cut over these old guys though.

Or even let Huff actually get time with the first team next game... nothing to lose- and I still say he's better than BWW or Sensabaugh.

Any corner looks bad when the QB has 5 seconds to scan the field and hit the open receiver. The opposite is true of course, any corner looks great when the QB is sitting on his ass after a sack. Want to have good corners....sack the QB. To answer the original post...don't spend big bucks on corners.

No, couple of those dudes are Pro Bowl corners. The Titans don't like Pro Bowl corners.

I still don't get why we've refused to bring in a vet corner the last three years.

3 main areas of concern. 1) CB , 2) No pass rushers 3) kicker scares me (both).

Got a man crush on Mettenberger, but Locker is doing well. I think Mettenberger has done enough to take the 2 spot from Charlie. Not at all excited to see Mettenberger play most of the last pre-season game. We know what he can do, not sure why we do not have another guy in camp with charlie hurt. If Mettenberger goes down vs Minnesota, your playing Charlie who is already hurt or Kendall Wright. Just opening up a big can of worms.

Hunter is a beast. But defense has me worried, its really bad this year. The only hope is Horton is playing a poker face by not showing ANYTHING this pre-season.

And for this thread, we need a vet corner. Our corners are awful. Campbell needs to get cut. Our other two Cody and Blidi are backup role players. But again, with no pass rush, its hard to cover for that long, but tackling is something that shows they are not starters in this league

The only way to address the CB position is through free agency or the draft. Both have passed and we are either stuck with Wren Wilson or Coty at #2. I never felt comfortable with either one.

If we had to pick from the listed CBs, I would take Chris Houston.

This is the reason why we should've made a splash for Brandon Flowers.

There's always growing pains at CB. Once upon a time Verner and McCourty sucked. I'm hopeful BWW figures things out.

I wouldn't say Verner sucked. He had growing pains, but didn't suck.
