I agree he has been a good back in the league, but I don't know that I would put him in the conversation of the best backs. He was damn good last year, and under rated for sure. I would have no problem if Sankey put up Forte type numbers, but I don't want any poor mans Forte. That's all I was getting at.

 

Finally watching replay... on Stafford's INT, it was overturned on a "hands to the face" penalty. Seriously, the only player I see on that play - paused - is a NO's lineman, #79, with a nice grasp on the rusher's facemask.
Did I miss something..?

 

Yeah, that was the conversation around here. We could've always put Blidi outside and Vern in the slot. Gotta put our hopes in Blidi right now. No other options.

 

#24 got picked on like a Mettenberger bugger

 

we really just missed on some real talent this team could really use in the draft. I.E. Justin Gilbert, Martavis Bryant, Dri Archer. Players that could have really pushed the team over the top

 

A 3-4 Nose tackle has two jobs A) Clog running lanes and B) disrupt the pocket so the QB cannot step up. SLH has done neither so far and while two preseason games isn't the end of the world it is still concerning to see our defense so weak in the middle.

 

Is Leon Washington pretty much done? Hasn't returned a kick and got Whitehurst killed because he missed a block.
