2 lbs. per week would be a huge amount of loss...aim for a pound a week. Also, your body will hit "plateau's" along the way. You will lose a lot of weight at first, it will seem to just melt away, and then it will be like you are stuck at a weight. I have found that to "break through" I have to perhaps do a "extra" long workout or maybe double up and do two workouts in a day. Gets the metabolism going in overdrive again. ONE final note on this. Your body will burn fat as you exercise at any rate (meaning how hard you are working out) but it will burn more fat as a percentage if you work out at a low intensity (basically if you can still talk that is a good level) but you should try to go for at least 30 minutes per workout to really get benefits.

Depends on the time of year...but during the racing season I will take in 3000-4000 calories a day...sometimes more. But I have reached my target weight and don't want to lose anymore. Now it is just fuel. So a typical day from say March-Sept would be Breakfast-Pancakes with butter and maple syrup, 2 bacon slices, OJ and coffee. Figure about 1200-1400 calories for that. Some days I will ride before I eat, some days afterwards. Lunch often will be just some fruit or maybe a homemade smoothie and maybe some nuts, about 1000 calories, dinner could range from pizza, pasta of some type, but whatever it is the calorie count will be between 1000-1400 calories. Please note that for long rides...anything over 2 hours I eat along the way about 200 calories per hour. I am sponsored by this company and I highly recommend their products...

    Yeah, sugar is the thing.

My addiction is sodas. Fountain drinks, specifically.

I've cut them out about 30 times, and end up falling back in.

And then whenever I need to lose weight/tone up- I drop the sodas, switch to all water- and run sprints.

Jogging won't do much for you aesthetically.

    I sprint 10 seconds, walk 10, sprint 10, walk 10... pretty much until I can't anymore.

You'll look batshat crazy, but it's about the most effective thing I've found and it takes no time out of your day/night.

I will always be skinny. Metabolism won't slow down.

I set a few New Years resolutions...

    1. No soft drinks
    2. Workout regularly
    3. Gain 20 pounds

I've stuck to all of them minus gaining 20 pounds... I've gained a little, but it's so damn hard. I guess a lot of people wished they had this issue though.

I thought I was 6'3", but apparently after being measured at the doctor's I am closer to 6'2"... 180 lbs. I can't get beyond 180 no matter what I do. Increased calories to 5000 or more a day. Ate my ass off. Can't gain another pound.

If I eat like a normal person (2000-3000 calories a day) I will lose weight. So I have to say it does suck when I'm having to shove food down my throat when I'm already full just to not lose weight.
