Well to be fair the conditions last night were horrible. But Bonani has been shanking a bunch in practice and Coons has been kicking low in practice.

I think it should be hard to judge any of the players based on one game played in heavy rain. There were simply too many issues with the rain. But of course, everyone has their own opinions. I didn't see half the game because I have directv and it went our for 45 minutes during the storm. What I did see was certainly not enough to judge any of the players. But people see what they want to see and that is usually all they see.

I had an entire forum about this and a lot of people said I was overreacting, but our kicking game is something I'm watching closely and am very concerned about giving their performance in training camp.

Like all things this game, the miss came at a low point in the game due to bad weather. I wouldn't put that miss on our kicker as much as I would on our LS. He constantly snapped balls rather poorly all night in both field goals and punting situations.

I'm punting on this game and waiting til next to draw conclusions about any position on our team. That's how bad weather was.

Good news is at least we had bad weather!

What are the Texans excuses for this? Lol

Ryan Fitz played the entire first half FYI not a meager two plays!

Credit the Whiz for yanking Locker. He actually admitted in post game that even though he wanted to get Jake some more work after the weather picked up he just wanted to get him out! That is called being smart and protecting your possible franchise QB.

I just watched Charlie Whitehursts interview on Titansonline and he got asked how he felt about a "Charlie Football" nickname and said it doesn't bother him. Another Interviewer asked him about his "other nickname" and he said he doesn't like that one too much haha.

If he were still here, you'd blamed Munch for not having the team ready.

No one is saying that it means the Titans run D will suck all season. It DID suck last night on that first drive.

BTW, here is GoT telling TitanJeff his thoughts on the weather as we were walking towards the stadium.

Admittedly I'd be a little less forgiving of Munch in any situation (due to how much of a loser he is and all). But I still wouldn't be jumping to any conclusions based on one quarter of play in an absolute downpour.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any concerns. I just don't think we need to be getting too awful worked up... at least not yet
