When I was a kid I was more a fan of certain players. John Elway was my favorite player with Eddie George being a distant second. Elway retired after the 1998 season, so I followed Eddie throughout the 1999 season and the Titans ended up going to the Super Bowl. They just kind of turned in to my team after that.

I was 11 when they went to the Super Bowl, so I was young enough to become attached to the players, unlike now. I've tried getting in to MLB baseball the last couple of years and adopted the Braves as my MLB team, but it's just not the same.
