I was just saying Schwartz sucked worse than Munch and used some of the Lions players as evidence. What, you wanna fight about it?

Actually he cut down big time on those his last two seasons here. Last year he got 2 to 3 yards a lot when he use to try to make something happen and either gain 7-10 or lose 2 to 3.

But all that is because of the question marks surrounding Jake.

If he plays an entire season the same way that he has shown that he can then the Titans contend in the division.

Our defense will be above average.

Our WR core is above average.

Our RB are at least average but possibly better depending on Sankey but all signs point to him being a special player.

    Coaching staff is better.

    Oline is better.

We were almost .500 with Fitzpatrick and this team is improved over last year's team as far as talent goes.

Losing CJ isn't a big deal. It ain't.

Verner hurts but it isn't like Verner is the GOAT. Dude was an above average corner.

This team is 8-8 with a chance to contend if things go well.

Okay, so your whole point is that Munch is not the absolute worst coach in the NFL. Cool.

Doesn't make his past three years here any less of a failure.

For every game we lost that we should have won under Munch... we won one that we were given no chance to.

His last season here, he put a good team on the field. They were competitive every Sunday. Gameplan was solid. It didn't translate to "wins" but there's more to it than that. Can't blame player fumbles, late interceptions, etc on the coach.

And again- that was with Fitzpatrick at QB and a garbage RB in CJ.

What makes you think our defense is going to be above average? We have never seen these players run a 3-4 and we lost our best corner.

    Best corner...

    Debatable.

We have a really good coach putting this defense together and some good talent.

I'm what is called positive or optimistic.

Munch was in over his head. Our defense kept us in games last year. How an o-line coach can't shore up an o-line is beyond me. Plus he is possibly the worst head coach at making coordinator hirings. That was ultimately his kryptonite was his inability to hire coordinators and fire his friends. Greg Williams was about the only thing Munch did right.

More of an opinion thing but I also hated what seemed like a lack of emotion. I couldn't tell if we were winning or losing at any moment by looking at his face. He was a lifeless shell of zero energy on the sidelines and I just can't stand that. Sure coaches all coach differently and guys like Munch have been successful but players these days seem to respond more to guys who bring energy.

I'm trying not to be optimistic so when we suck I will not be let down. It's much easier to watch games this way without flipping out and throwing stuff all the time.
