Just had a beer with Eddie George

    First thread I've ever started on this board but since it's the offseason.... Went to a neighborhood brick oven pizza joint tonight and was having a beer when Eddie George came in with his kids and another guy. He had been at a Briarcrest event with his son (same school Oher went to).

    Talked about the old AFCC and he called it 'a man's conference'. I went to a ton of games back then and it was pretty awesome talking about it. He doesn't have an ounce of fat on him, looks like he's in his 20's and couldn't have been more humble and gracious. Didn't seem to hold any ill feelings. Just wanted to share.....

    Eddie made it insanely easy to be a Titans fan back in the day. I used to see seas of blue Titan jerseys in middle school everywhere, everybody was a Eddie fan.

    Eddie has always struck me as a guy who embodies a 'sports hero'. I hesitate to still look up to the guy like that being 27 and all, but Eddie just seems like a good person.

    My wife actually got me a framed, signed Eddie George jersey for our first marriage anniversary a few days ago. I wanted to marry her all over again lol. EG is my all time favorite Titan.
