He's only well below average in PFF's eyes. He was as average as they come until last season... He had a bad second half of the season.

Maybe now that he has a fresh start and is strictly a RT, he'll be better.

But I definitely consider him an average player... Better than what Stewart was last year, at the very least.

My problem is, he shouldn't play. Lewan should take that position over.

In all honesty the RB market as a whole hurt CJ's value more than the Titans ever could have. RB is just no longer a position teams are willing to pay top dollar for. Players are always looking for that chip on their shoulder despite the fact that it's usually just business. In other news swimming in pools of hydrosulfuric acid might be hazardous to your health.

I agree... but we obviously did not envision a scenario in which Lewan would be available and all other players we had ranked ahead of him would be gone as well.

I'm pretty sure we would've taken Barr or Gilbert if they were available. We tried to trade out of 11, but it didn't work, so we went with Lewan.

I hated the pick, but I've warmed up to it because we have no chance at winning right now anyways. It was a pick for the future. Plain and simple.

    **** this guy.

I've never wished ill on a player, but if he got hit by a truck tomorrow I wouldn't lose any sleep.

You are literally the only person on this board that doesn't understand that the Titans can cut him after the season and it will essentially have been a one-year $6 million deal. That's not terrible for a guy who was supposed to be a starter and at worst will be a good swing tackle.

I wish it more for Kenny Britt if he goes out and tries in St. Louis.

Sankey will out produce CJs numbers last year IMO, for way less money. I'd rather have the cap space TBH.
