Nederlands are my fav team as well and my pick to win it all. Van Persie is nasty. Too bad he's out for the next game.

 

Do you ever watch soccer? Have you watched the last World Cup? Do you watch German Bundesliga. Clearly not, otherwise you would know that Mueller is far more important to their offensive gameplan than Reus. You can debate that with yourself.

 

Agreed 100%. Mueller is the heart of that team.

Don't pull the "do you ever watch?" card while claiming the obvious best player on the team isn't.

Dude was expected to outshine Messi in the World Cup.


I get it- you guys see Mueller score 3 goals and all of a sudden, he's the German God... but prior to that- no one would have said such nonsense.

 

And talk about Bundesliga....

You mean the league that Reus was #4 in scoring in?

A freakin' midfielder at #4 with 16 goals is absurd (and 14 assists)... and you'll discredit that?


Mueller? #11...keep in mind, he's a forward.

Reus? - No. Reus is good (and hyped), but no.

Yeah. We're ignoring the fact that he was top scorer with 5 at the 2010 World Cup (with 3 others) as well. And that he's scored 10+ goals in the Bundesliga in each of the last 2 season.
Müller has scored 100 goals in less than 300 games for Bayern. He's not just some joker who happened to popup a the 2014 World Cup.

And more facts. Müller is 1 year younger than Reus, but have played twice as many NT games.

 

.... and Reus scored more goals AS A MIDFIELDER in Bundesliga.

Keep ignoring that part.

 

Müller is playing attacking midtfielder as well. Behind guys like Mandzukic or Pizzaro. He's never the front striker. Same as Reus.

 

I wasn't aware he played attacking midfielder. Either way- Reus topped him goals and assists.

Someone pretending he isn't the biggest blow to Germany (loss wise) that they could have is pretty silly. He's by far the more polished/experienced/skilled player they had. Beyond that- his speed alone is problematic.
