I don't see brady playing out his contract. He, like egg head, is slipping off where he was. I say, with an ego like brady, that he quits while on top. jimmy g has a good shot at replacing him.

Besides, if he asks for a trade because he doesn't want to do what the team needs him to do, IE. sit and learn for eventual play, then what does that tell potential suiters about his character? Now, if he sits for four years, then the pats sign brady or whomever to another 4 year deal...... then ask for trade.

If he sits still and never does anything he'll just become a free agent in 4 years, wont need to ask for a trade. It'll be interesting to me to see what happens with Mallett. If he gets a shot next year then Jimmy should probably soak it in behind Brady, but if Mallett gets shafted and no team gives him a shot to play, I'd ask for a trade in a year if Im Garoppolo.

Can't really ask for a trade after just being drafted ... that would not look good, and he doesnt have them Manning name to hide behind (like Eli).

He needs to sit anyway, so why not just sit behind one of the best for a couple years. Brady won't be around for much longer anyway. Either injury, age, or going out on top (after winning another SB) is going to happen in the next 4 years. Then Jimmy G will have his chance.

Based off comments from the owner, Brady could go 5 another years maybe.

Is their owner a psychic? ... If not, then I doubt he knows any better than we do. A lot can change in 5 years. Kraft may not even be alive in 5 years, who knows.

Also, what is he supposed to say "Ehh I think brady has 1 more good year until his play starts to decline"

Of course he wont say that, but he spoke with a lot of excitement as if Brady's only 29 or something. Kraft went on and on about how wonderful "Tommy" is and it just seems Kraft believes Brady still has a lot left.

As for Kraft dying soon, IDK he looks as good today as he did 10 years ago. Last few years have been rough for Kraft health wise, but he looks rejuvenated.

Brady did very well considering the clowns he had to throw to most of the season.
