Nobody wants mettenburger for a reason. This garbage won't make it as anything but a backup in the nfl. Trust

Did I want mettenburger? No. Can I live with it because he's a 6th rd pick? Yes. Do I expect anything out of him? No.

He didn't drop because of lack of talent. He dropped because of his off-the-field/health questionmarks. Low risk, high reward pick!

Well now it seems we have a roster full of backup and questionable QB's. I like the pick, give the kid a chance but I have my doubts.

He can make throws that no other QB in the draft can make. That said, so could Jamarcus Russell. However, Cam Cameron, who has plenty of NFL coaching experience and was his offensive coordinator last year says the guy will be a great pro. What an arm! Has been a bit if a douche at times in the past. He was a captain on his team last year though and claims that's all in the past. We'll see.

Anyone who thinks Mettenberger straight up sucks needs to watch this.

Just look at some of the throws he makes against a top 10 NCAA defense. He shows touch, poise in the pocket, the toughness to throw a strike while getting hit, and most importantly deadly accuracy save for a few throws. If this kid fails it won't be due to a lack of talent. I've also watched some of his interviews and he definitely doesn't come off as a douche, just a kid whose made some mistakes that he owns up to and is ashamed of. In one interview he said that the worst thing about the incident in Georgia was disappointing his mom and really meant it. That's not something you normally hear A-holes saying.I don't think we'll see off field problems with him.

No way in hell Georgia is a top 10 defense. Probably not top 100. They were torched by everyone, and watching that game live, it was laughable how many blown assignments they had.

On top if that, he reminds me of Tyler Bray in this game. More than enough arm and accuracy to make every throw.

But he didn't throw a single ball downfield where he didn't stare down the receiver beforehand. If he keeps doing that, he could have a rocket launcher attached to his shoulder... Still won't be a good QB.

I agree that he tends to tip off the defense on where he's going. It's up to the Titans coaching staff to correct that. I'll promise you there are HOF QB's who had that problem coming out of college. No big deal.
